The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
